Owners Rozanne and Gerard Caronello closed their beloved La Bonne Auberge in December, 2009. The AAA-Four Diamond award-winning restaurant served classic French cuisine since 1972. For nearly four decades, the 250-year-old farmhouse set amidst impeccably landscaped gardens above the village of New Hope, Bucks County, hosted many special occasions, corporate events and wedding celebrations. “Once you step onto the elevated wooden walk that winds through manicured lawns and magnificent gardens, it’s a different world, and you’d best come with your dining sensibilities intact, for dinner at La Bonne Auberge is very special indeed.” Philadelphia Magazine “Chef
Gerard Caronello, who was born near Lyon, lavishes almost as much
attention on his establishment’s grounds as he does on his magnificent
restaurant, a two-hundred-year-old structure.” Gourmet Magazine
The Philadelphia Inquirer While Chef Gerard has retired from his day-to-day responsibilities of running the restaurant alongside his wife, he will soon be taking his culinary skills on the road and into your homes. Chef Gerard's classic French training and delicious specialties, for which he became famous for at La Bonne Auberge, will continue to please palettes well into the future, albeit on a small scale. |
